Accumulator, Remove and Install
A/C Refrigerant System (R-134a) Major Components, Servicing
Accumulator, Removing and Installing

Discharge refrigerant system.

Detach complete front bumper/grille assembly (service position).
-
Remove bolt -A-.
-
Remove refrigerant line -B-.
-
Remove nuts -D-.
-
Remove accumulator together with bracket.
-
Remove refrigerant line -E-.
-
Remove accumulator from bracket and insulating sleeve -F-.
-
Install in reverse order of removal.

Refrigerant lines -B- and - E- tightening torque: 40 Nm (30 ft lb).

Replace both O-rings: 17.2 mm inside diameter, 1.8 mm thickness.

Install spring -C- (illustration A87-0065) aligned with mounting hole on bracket and mark on refrigerant hose.
NOTE:
-
Ensure refrigerant lines are installed without tension and do not contact other components.
