Wiper Control Module: Service and Repair

Windshield Wiper Motor and Control Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing

-

Remove wiper arms => [ Windshield Wiper Arms ] See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Windshield Wiper Arms.

Remove seal - arrow -.

-

Unclip the plenum chamber cover - 1 through 3 - and remove it.

Remove securing clips - 2 - - arrow A -. 

CAUTION!
The cowl panel trim could be damaged.

‹› Coat the transition between the windshield and cowl panel trim with some soapy water and carefully pull the cowl panel trim - 1 -

vertically out of the retainer on the windshield - B arrows - beginning at the edge of the window.

Remove cowl panel trim - 1 - by carefully removing it from the retainer on the windshield - B arrows -.
