Replace headlight washer pump -A- and install new headlight washer pump protective cover -B- as follows:

Headlight washer pump replacement procedure:

-

Remove sound absorber pan.

-

Disconnect pump electrical connector and washer hose.

-

Remove pump.

-

Install new pump

-

Install pump protective cover (arrow).

Pump and reservoir shown removed for illustration purposes only (reservoir does not have to be removed to replace pump and install protective cover).

-

Reinstall washer hose and electrical connector.

-

Reinstall sound absorber pan.

-

Refill washer fluid.

-

Check headlight washer operation.

If headlight washers are still inoperative:

-

Check circuit wiring, connections and signal from wiper / washer switch.

-

Repair or replace as needed (Refer to repair manual).
