Remove nuts - 2 - (2x) of side airbag -1 -.

-

Pry out metal strap - 3 -.

-

Remove side airbag -1 -.

-

Remove clip - 6 - and carefully remove wiring harness - 5-.

Installation:
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-

Ensure that the wiring harness - 5 - runs between seat frame and plastic guide - 7 - and that no tension is applied to the cable.

Secure clip - 6 -.

-

Switch ignition on.

CAUTION:  No person may be inside the vehicle when connecting the battery.

Connect battery Ground (GND) strap.

NOTE:
-

Observe safety precautions after connecting battery.

-

IfAirbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction after installation, DTC memory must be checked, erased and once
again checked using Diagnostic Operating System VAS 5051 A.

2. Nuts (2x)

-

Tightening torque 5 Nm

-

Always replace after removal

6. Clip
7. Plastic guide
