Door Lock Actuating Link

Removing

-

Remove the door trim.. 

-

Remove the inner door panel cover. Refer to => [ Door Inner Panel Cover ]. See: Service and Repair/Front Doors/Door Inner Panel Cover

CAUTION!
There is a risk of malfunctions.

‹› When removing and installing, make sure the operating cable is not kinked or damaged.

Turn the operating cable on the lever - 1 - 90° in the - direction of arrow A - and remove it from the bracket -  2 -.

-

Rotate the actuating link on the door lock operating lever -  3 - in the - direction of arrow B -.

‹› The actuating link must be aligned with the opening on the operating lever.

Disengage the actuating link - 1 - on the operating lever by pressing the bracket - 3 - out of the mount on the cable mounting bracket - 2 - - arrow

Remove the operating shaft.
