Outer Door Handle Trim

In vehicles without "keyless entry", trim installed instead of the outer door handle touch sensor.

Removing

-

Remove the outer door handle.

-

Pry the outer door handle trim - 2 - out using an awl - 1 - at the location shown in the illustration -  arrow -.

-

Remove the outer door handle trim from the handle - 3 -. 

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

Slide the outer door handle trim in until it engages audibly.

-

Install the outer door handle. 

-

Install housing. Refer to => [ Housing ]. See: Service and Repair/Rear Door/Housing
