Seat Angle Adjustment Motor

Removing

CAUTION!
‹› Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components Safety Precautions ] See:

Restraint Systems/Service Precautions.

‹› Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge

static electricity". This can be done by touching door striker, for example.

Remove front seat:

‹› Standard and Sport Power Seat, Comfort Seat and Super Sport Seat. Refer to => [ Power Standard Front Seats ].

Attach front seat to Fixture For Seat Repair ( VAS 6136). Refer to => [ Front Seat, Installing on VAS 6136 ] See: Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Seat Versions Overview.

Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 - on the seat angle adjustment motor - 4 -.

Remove the bolt - 2 - for the adjustment spindle -  5 - (preset by the manufacturer).

-

Do not damage the bushing - 1 - inserted in the bearing area - 2 - when removing the bolt.
