Vacuum Pump

The construction of the vacuum pump V192 depends on the engine.

The brake system vacuum pump (V192) is switched on by the engine control module depending on the intake line pressure. 

Vacuum pump is not intended to be serviced. In case of complaints, determine cause with help of function or seal test. If there is a malfunction,
replace electrical vacuum pump.

Removing

‹› The electrical vacuum pump is located in the engine compartment on the right side in front of the plenum chamber bulkhead.

Remove engine cover.

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

-

Loosen clamp on vacuum hose using suitable pliers.

Disconnect vacuum hose from the vacuum pump.

-

Press right and lift clips - arrow - out of the bracket by hand.

-

Remove electrical vacuum pump upward while holding the rubber buffer securely.
