Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Engine Mount

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Engine Support Bridge (10 - 222 A)

Removing

Removing the engine mount was described on the left engine mount. 

-

Support the engine. Refer to => [ Engine, Support with Engine Support Bridge ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine,
Support with Engine Support Bridge. 

-

Remove front wheels.

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Remove wheel housing liner.

-

Disconnect and free up the connector - 3 - on the Left Electro-Hydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144).

-

Remove engine mount bolts - 1, 4 and 5 -.

-

Move engine mount retaining plate - 2 - to the side. 

-

Remove engine mount.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Subframe Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Subframe Assembly
Overview

‹› Replace bolts which have been tightened to an additional torque.

-

Install the noise insulation and the wheel housing liners.
