9 - High Pressure Pump
‹› With Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276)
‹› There is an electric fuel pump located in the tank that supplies the fuel to the mechanical high pressure pump.
‹› When installing the high-pressure pump, make sure that no dirt enters the fuel system.
‹› The fuel system must be pressureless to install the high-pressure pump. Releasing fuel pressure, refer to => [ Before Opening High Pressure

‹› Do not install fuel lines with tension

‹› Can remain in the vacuum pump after removing the high pressure pump, removable
11 - Fuel Supply Line Connectors
‹› Replace
‹› 25 Nm
12 - High Pressure Fuel Line
‹› Do not install fuel lines with tension
‹› 18 Nm
13 - Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve (N316)
14 - Fuel Injector
‹› Replace O-ring and teflon ring
‹› Note correct installation position

19 - Throttle Valve Control Module (J338), Throttle Drive for Electronic Power Control (G186),
‹› Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 1 (G187) and Throttle Drive Angle Sensor 2 (G188)
‹› Each time throttle valve control module (J338) is removed or replaced, it must be adapted to the ECM; see vehicle diagnosis, testing and
information system (VAS 5051B) "Guided Functions"
