Left Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Protective gloves

‹› Protective eyewear

‹› Box cutter

Removing

-

Remove headlamp housings => [ Headlamp Housing ]. See: Service and Repair/Halogen Headlamps/Headlamp Housing

‹› To replace the left headlamp beam adjustment motor ( V48), the headlamp housing must be cut open at the designated location with a sharp box

cutter.

‹› A housing cover can be ordered to seal the assembly opening.

CAUTION!
There is a risk of injury and damage.

‹› Wear protective gloves and eyewear.

‹› To avoid damaged electrical wires in the headlamp housing, do not cut too deep.

Cut cover - 2 - out of the headlamp housing with a sharp box cutter.

Remove low beam housing cover - 3 - from the headlamp housing.
