Wastegate Actuator: Testing and Inspection
Turbocharger Vacuum Diaphragm, Checking
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213)
Test conditions:
‹› Hose from exhaust turbocharger over Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve (N75) must have continuity to vacuum diaphragm.
‹› Wastegate Bypass Regulator Valve (N75) OK
Work procedure:

Remove engine cover - arrows -.
-
Connect Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213) to vacuum diaphragm - arrow -.
-
Set the slide ring - 1 - on Hand Vacuum Pump (VAS 6213) to position - B - for " pressure".
