2. Check the software version of the lane change assistant (address word 3C). Update the software as needed using the SVM action code listed in the
table above.

^ TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
^ TSB 2020050 96 Lane change assistant (Audi side assist) inoperative
^ TSB 2024300 96 Audi Side Assist, replacing control units
