Open the cover - 2 - over the battery negative terminal. 

-

Loosen the nut several turns and remove the ground wire terminal clamp - 1 - from the battery terminal.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 -.

-

Remove the nut - 6 - and ground wire - 5 - with the battery monitoring control module (J367) -  item 4 -.

Installing

‹› Torque specification: sedan => [ Battery Assembly Overview, Sedan ] , Avant => [ Battery Assembly Overview, Avant ] See: Battery/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery Assembly Overview, Avant.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Connect battery => [ ] See: Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

-

Install the subwoofer, if applicable.
