Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove glove compartment. 

-

Pry instrument panel side cover off with trim removal wedge (3409) - arrow - and remove it.

Remove interior CAN cut-off connector (T46i) mount - 4 - => [ Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount ] See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information Bus/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount.
