Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

Safety precautions for working with pyrotechnic belt tensioners.

Seat belt inspection.

-

Remove seat:
-

Standard seat: Vehicles through 10.04, vehicles from 11.04

-

Electric seat: Vehicles through 10.04, vehicles from 11.04

Removing

NOTE:  The seat occupied recognition passenger airbag deactivation belt latch is only installed on passenger side.

CAUTION:  The seat occupied recognition passenger airbag deactivation belt latch must be replaced each time passenger belt tensioner
deploys.

Removing

-

Disconnect connector - 1 - under seat.

-

If present, remove cable from clip - 2 - equipment versions.

Remove bolt - 3 -.
