Read value on hydrometer and compare with values listed in table:

The specific gravity in normal climatic zones must be at least 1.24kg/cu.dm.

If specific density is too low in all battery cells, charge battery.

Repeat testing of electrolyte specific gravity after charging battery.

If specifications are not attained, replace battery.

NOTE:  The measured values for the electrolyte specific gravity of the individual battery cells must not deviate by more than 0.03 kg/cu.dm, otherwise
replace battery.

If readings meet specifications, re-insert battery caps.

CAUTION:

-

It is essential that genuine and proper battery sealing plugs be used to ensure that different battery cover systems are sealed correctly.
Use genuine sealing plugs of same construction if lost or damaged.

The plugs must be installed with an O-ring seal.
