Repair manual may be unclear regarding when to perform 2 wheel and 4 wheel alignments on vehicles with 4 link suspension.

Service

Front Wheel Drive and ALL Wheel Drive

When certain front suspension components are removed or replaced and the chart in the Repair Manual (see group 44) calls for an alignment:

-

Always check front and rear suspension alignment.

-

Align front suspension.

-

Only if necessary, align rear suspension.

When certain rear suspension components are removed or replaced and the chart in the Repair Manual (see group 44) calls for an alignment:

-

Always check front and rear suspension alignment.

-

Align rear suspension.

-

Only if necessary, align the front suspension.
