Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
‹› Radio Removal Tool (T10057)

Turn off all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.
Removing
-
Place Radio Removal Tool (T10057) in release slits on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) until they engage. Points on grip
eyes face outward.

Remove Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) at radio removal tool (T10057 ) grip eyes from instrument panel.

Release connectors on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) and remove it.

Remove Radio Removal Tool (T10057) by pushing locking tabs on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) to do so.
Installing

Connect all harness connectors.

Carefully slide Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402) into instrument panel and allow it to engage in installation frame.

Perform adaptations on Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module (J402)Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.
