‹› Press the piston back into the cylinder with piston resetting tool (T10145), before inserting new brake pads. Before pressing the piston back,
extract some brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle. Otherwise, fluid can overflow and cause damage, particularly if the reservoir has
been topped off.
CAUTION!
Brake fluid is poisonous and must never be extracted by mouth using a hose!
Installing
Use methylated spirits to clean the brake caliper housing.

Install the brake pads.

Swing the brake caliper housing down and tighten the bolts to 30 Nm.
‹› The repair kit includes four self locking bolts which must be installed.
‹› After replacing the brake pads, depress the brake pedal firmly several times with the vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in
their normal operating position.
