Remove intermediate piece - A -.

Installing

‹› When installing the instrument panel, make sure that the intermediate piece for defrost is seated properly on the defroster vent and does not pinch

the vent.

‹› After installing the instrument panel, check the output direction and distribution of the air flow from the defroster vent to the windshield.

Left Front Footwell Vent

Removing

-

Remove the glove compartment and the center console.

-

Remove support - A - for the instrument panel cross member (passenger side on the center tunnel).

-

Remove screws - A - and - B - between support - C - and the A/C unit.

-

Remove support - C - for the instrument panel cross member (driver side on the center tunnel).

-

Remove both intermediate pieces to the air guide to the rear footwell vent.

-

Label both connectors - A - and - B - to the left footwell vent temperature sensor (G261) and the right footwell vent temperature sensor (G262)
(danger of mix-up).

-

Disconnect connectors - A - and - B - from the footwell vent temperature sensors.
