CAUTION!
‹› Input shaft must not be set down on the projecting oil pipe - arrow - otherwise it will be damaged.
‹› If the oil pipe is damaged, starting problems or a transmission malfunction will result.

Insert entire input shaft into transmission housing.

Use back and forth rotating motions - arrow - on input shaft until clutch discs of reverse gear clutch have engaged. Raise input shaft slightly when
doing this.

Just before the input shaft is fully in position, rotate it counter-clockwise over the last few millimeters so that it engages in the teeth of the helical
intermediate gearing.

Tighten bolts - arrows - in diagonal sequence and in stages.

Fill with ATF => [ ATF, Filling for ATF Flush ] See: Continuously Variable Transmission/Transaxle/Fluid - CVT/Service and Repair/01J,0AN
Transmission/ATF, Filling for ATF Flush.

After installing the transmission, check the ATF level and add if necessary.
