Install and tighten the ATF drain plug.

‹› Tightening specification : 24 Nm.

Remove the ATF inspection plug - B -.

Thread the connection on the shut off valve of the ATF filler system F/CVT transmission (VAS 5162) into the opening of the ATF inspection plug
- B -.

Rotate the shut off valve in the direction of the filler hose -  lower arrow -. The ATF then flows into the transmission.

Fill the transmission with at least 4.5 liters of ATF.

With the selector lever in the "P" position, start the engine and let the engine idle.

For Vehicles as of MY 2005:

‹› Selector lever in the "P" position.

Let the engine run at a high speed, a minimum of 2500 RPM by pressing the accelerator pedal.
