Shifter CVT: Adjustments

Locking Lever Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Adjustment pin for shift lock 3 (3352 A)

‹› Safety glasses

Work Preparations

‹› The procedure described below will save you the effort of removing the center console.

Cut through the adjustment pin for shift lock 3 ( 3352 A) at the rear end of the flat area - arrow - using a cutting grinder.

CAUTION!
Wear eye protection.

Order a new adjustment pin for the shift lock as a replacement for other use.

Work Procedure

Position the steering wheel column adjustment all the way and back toward driver's seat.

Remove the cover for the shift mechanism. Refer to => [ Shift Mechanism Cover ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/01J
Transmission/Shift Mechanism Cover.

Remove the ashtray from the center console.

Loosen bolt - 1 -.
