t  Oil pressure tester -V.A.G 1342- with adapter -V.A.G 1342/21-

Procedure
l  Oil level OK
l  Engine oil temperature approx. 80 °C.
–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.

–  Remove bolt -1- and banjo bolt -3- for oil supply line at turbocharger.
  Note
Disregard -item 2-.
  A21-10370
–  Fit adapter -V.A.G 1342/21- with new seals to turbocharger as shown in illustration.
–  Connect oil pressure tester -V.A.G 1342- to -V.A.G 1342/21-.
–  Screw a used oil pressure switch into threaded hole on oil pressure tester -V.A.G 1342- to seal hole.
–  Start engine.
l  Minimum oil pressure at idling speed: 0.8 bar
l  Minimum oil pressure at 2000 rpm: 1.5 bar
Assembling
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Remove adapter -V.A.G 1342/21- and install oil supply line for turbocharger → Chapter.
