Removing and installing oil pressure switchF22/oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressureF378
Removing and installing oil pressure switch -F22-/oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure -F378-
   
Removing
–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.
  A10-11504
Oil pressure switch -F22-:
–  Remove lock carrier cover -4- → Rep. gr.63.

–  Remove air duct -arrow-.

Continuation for both oil pressure switches:
–  Unplug electrical connectors:
1 - For oil pressure switch -F22-
2 - For oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure -F378-
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping engine oil.
–  Unscrew relevant oil pressure switch.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Oil filter housing, oil pressure switches, engine oil cooler“
  Note
Renew seal.
–  Install air duct → Rep. gr.23.
–  Install lock carrier cover → Rep. gr.63.
