Removing and installing Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Lambda probe 1 heater after catalytic converter -Z29-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-
Removing
  W00-0206
–  Unplug electrical connector -2- for Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Lambda probe 1 heater after catalytic converter -Z29-.
  Note
Item -3- is not installed on vehicles with engine code CFKA or CPMA.

–  Unscrew Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130--1- using tool from Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-.
Installing
When installing, note the following:
  Note
t  Threads of new Lambda probes are already coated with assembly paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  In the case of a used Lambda probe grease only the thread with high-temperature paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the Lambda probe body. High-temperature paste → Parts catalogue
t  When installing, it is important to re-attach the Lambda probe wiring at the same locations to prevent it from coming into contact with the exhaust pipe.
l  Tightening torque: refer to overview of Lambda probes → Chapter.
