| System conditions for lane change assist function |
| The lane change assist function must be set up as follows: |

| Equipment: The lane change assist system is not fitted as standard equipment. It must be ordered as an optional extra. The rain and light sensor -G397- is always fitted if the lane change assist is fitted. (see section 3.1) |

| Coding: The lane change assist must be coded on the data bus diagnostic interface -J533- and on the front information display and operating unit control unit -J523- (MMI) in order to activate the system or change the settings. Control units with diagnostic capability are coded automatically in Guided Functions via target/actual comparison. |

| Adaption: In order to display the settings for the lane change assist in the Car menu on the MMI, the lane change assist function must be coded in adaption channel 01 of the front information display and operating unit control unit -J523-. Adaption is performed via the Guided Functions. |
