Digital Sound System Control Module, MMI, through October 31, 2008

The Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) is located behind the left luggage compartment side trim on the top of the Infotainment rack.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Protective Cap for Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine. 

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

Turn off all electrical consumers.

Remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

Do not remove the rack.

-

Loosen the screws - 2 - - arrows - on the rack and swivel the Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 1 - into the luggage compartment.

Disconnect the connector leading to the MOST-bus - 2 - on the Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 4 -.
