Install the threaded eye from the counterhold tool (3419) in a threaded hole on the right flange shaft with two M10 nuts - 1 -.

Position multipurpose tool (VW 771) with the (VW 771/13) on the threaded eye and remove the flange shaft.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

‹› Replace the right flange shaft circlip.

Clamp flange shaft in vise, using jaw protectors. Press circlip with new circlip - A - out of flanged shaft groove.

Drive right flange shaft in using the centering mandrel (VW 295).

Install right drive axle.
