AFFECTED VEHICLES

CONDITION
The Voice Recognition function does not work.

Only applies to vehicles equipped with 3G MMI with Navigation.

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

The voice recognition functionality is not loaded correctly upon system startup. 

PRODUCTION SOLUTION 

Not Applicable.

SERVICE

During normal operation, the voice recognition commands can take up to 2 minutes to successfully load during system startup. If the complaint only
occurs during this time, this is normal and no repairs should be performed.

1. Perform a language change to reload the voice recognition commands:

^ In the MMI, navigate to Setup >> Settings >> Menu Language.

^ Switch to a different language by selecting a non-highlighted language (Figure 1). The system will load the new spoken cues.
