2. Insert update CD into the 3G MMI main (head) drive unit located in the center of the instrument panel.
3. Start the software update.
4. After the software update has been performed, confirm the "Abort (cancel) documentation" selection.
2. Perform Feedback Documentation Using SVM
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. For the feedback
documentation use the SVM code printed on the update CD.
Tip: No control unit is flashed as part of the feedback documentation to the SVM. Do not perform any updates of control units. Do not replace any
control units.
2. Confirm any proposed parameter settings and coding changes.
3. Perform test program "5F - Information electronics, resetting fault memory" to clear any faults in the system.
