Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Brake Filler/Bleeder Unit (VAS 5234) or 

‹› Brake Filler/Bleeder Unit (V.A.G 1869)

‹› Repair Kit Plugs (1H0 698 311 A)

‹› Brake Filler/Bleeder Unit Suction Adapter (V.A.G 1869/4)

Remove plenum chamber cover

-

Remove multi-point socket head bolts - 1 - and -  3 -, tightening specification 25 Nm.

-

Remove tower brace - 2 -.

-

Open brake fluid reservoir.
