Trunk Lamp: Service and Repair
Luggage Compartment Lamps and Switches
Rear Lid Lock Button
Removing
-
Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Release retaining springs - arrows - at Rear Lid Lock Button (E406).
-
Carefully guide Rear Lid Lock Button (E406) out of rear lid trim.
-
Unplug connector.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
Trunk Lock/Alarm/Central Locking Switch
Trunk Lock/Alarm/Central Locking Switch (F124) is located in rear lid lock - arrow - and cannot be replaced separately if malfunctioning.

Replace rear lid lock. Refer to => Body Exterior 55 Removal and Installation.
