Voltage Regulator, Removing And Installing - Bosch Generator

Removing

-

Remove generator:
-

3.2l FSI engines

-

4.2l MPI engine

-

Remove bolt - 1 - and nuts - 3 - and - 4 -.

-

Remove cover - 2 - at rear side of generator.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove voltage regulator.

Installing

-

When installing the voltage regulator, make sure the carbon brushes rest properly on the slip rings.
Rest of installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torques.
