Air Suspension Shock Absorber

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

-

Place vehicle on a hoist. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Positioning Vehicle on
Hoist and Wheels.

Remove wheel.

Bleed air spring at rear axle. Refer to => [ Rear Axle Air Spring, Bleeding and Filling ] See: Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )/Air
Spring/Service and Repair/Procedures/Rear Suspension/Rear Axle Air Spring, Bleeding and Filling.

Disconnect connector - 2 - and unclip electrical line.

Remove threaded connections - 2 - and pull wheel housing liner to the side.
