Shift Cable: Adjustments

Selector lever cable, adjusting 09L, 6 Speed AWD, A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Socket and key T40031

Procedure

-

Unclip retaining frame for selector lever boot - 1 - from center console and lift off - arrows -.

-

Shift selector lever to position "S".

Note:

Clamping bolt can only be accessed with selector lever in position "S".

Loosen clamping bolt approximately 1 turn - do not remove.

-

Loosen clamping bolt for selector lever cable approximately 1 turn using socket and key T40031.

-

Switch on ignition.

-

Symbol "S" in the "PRNDS" display should be highlighted in the Transmission Range (TR) Display Y6 on the instrument cluster
