Pull Climatronic Control Module (J255) (control head) out of mounting frame - arrows -.

Put Climatronic Control Module (J255) (control head) down on center console on rag to prevent surfaces from damage.

Disconnect electrical harness connectors in sequence - A through D - by releasing catches - F -.
-
Disconnect electrical harness connector - E -.
-
Remove gap cover above ashtray - arrow -.
-
Open front ashtray.
