Left headlamp:

Remove reservoir for power steering. Refer to=> [ Power Steering Reservoir ] See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Windshield Washer
Reservoir/Service and Repair/Power Steering Reservoir. 

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4-cyl. Gasoline engine: 

-

Remove air filter housing.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 6-cyl. Gasoline engine: 

-

Remove air filter housing. Refer to=> [ Air Filter Housing, 6 Cylinder Gasoline Engine ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and
Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4.2L MPI engine:

Remove air filter housing. Refer to=> [ Air Filter Housing, 4.2L MPI ] .

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4.2L FSI engine:

Remove air filter housing. Refer to=> [ Air Filter Housing, 4.2L FSI ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance
Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Filter Housing, 4.2L FSI.

Left headlamp - vehicles with 10-cyl. Gasoline engine:

Remove air filter housing. Refer to=> [ Left Air Filter Housing, 10 Cylinder Gasoline Engine ] . 

Right headlamp - vehicles with 10-cyl. Gasoline engine: 

-

Remove air filter housing. Refer to=> [ Left Air Filter Housing, 10 Cylinder Gasoline Engine ] .

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4-cyl. TDI engine:

-

Remove air filter housing.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 6-cyl. TDI engine:

-

Remove air filter housing.

All:

-

Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.

-

Pull socket - 1 - with light bulb in - direction of arrow - out of reflector.
