Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set For Oxygen Sensor (3337)

Removing

‹› All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.

Remove rear engine cover.

-

Remove the coolant expansion tank - arrow - and disconnect the connector on the Engine Coolant Level Warning Switch (F66) on the bottom of
the expansion tank.

Move the coolant reservoir to the side with hoses - 1 through 3 - connected.

-

Remove affected electrical connector from bracket and disconnect it.

Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 2 Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G131)

Remove Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 (G108) - 1 - using a tool from the Ring Spanner Set (3337).
