Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Ignition Coils

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Ignition Coil Puller (T40039)

Cylinder bank 1 (right)

-

Separate the electrical connector - 1 - from Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70).

-

Open both clips - arrows -.

-

Open the hose clamp and carefully pull the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70) out of the guide from air filter housing. 

-

Remove screws - 3 and 6 -.

-

Then disconnect connectors - 1 and 8 -.

-

Disconnect connectors - 9, 4, 5 and 7 - from the ignition coils and move the wiring harness to the side.
