Tow Sensor: Service and Repair

Towing Recognition Control Module, Sedan

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or " Guided
Functions" Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051.

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

Remove right side trim.. 

-

Disconnect electrical connectors - 2 - and -  3 -.

-

Release clip - arrow - and pull Towing Recognition Control Module (J345) - item 1 - out of mounting frame.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Install right side trim.
