Boot, replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose clamp pliers VAG 1275

Removing

Note: 
^

Replacement of boot is performed with suspension strut installed.

-

Position vehicle on lifting platform.

-

Remove wheel.

-

Carefully unclip and disconnect harness connector -2 -. Unhook wiring harness of harness connector - 2 - at suspension strut.

-

Remove coupling rod of level control system sensor - 6 - from control arm.

-

Remove hex bolt - 1 - and guide suspension strut fork out of control arm.
