Shift Cable: Adjustments

Selector lever cable, adjusting 09L, 6 Speed AWD A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Socket and key T40031

Procedure 

-

Unclip retaining frame for selector lever boot - 1 - from center console and lift off arrows -.

-

Shift selector lever to position "S"

Note: 
^

Clamping bolt can only be accessed with selector lever in position "S".

Loosen clamping bolt approx. 1 turn - do not remove.

-

Loosen clamping bolt for selector lever cable approx. 1 turn using socket and key T40031.

-

Switch on ignition.

Symbol "S" in the "PRNDS" display should be highlighted in the Transmission Range (TR) Display Y6 on the instrument cluster.
