Before installing, lightly lubricate ball socket on selector lever cable with polycarbamide grease G052142 A2.

Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable.

Install support bracket for selector lever cable according to marking on the transmission.

Adjust selector lever cable.
-
Install exhaust system so it is free of stress.
-
Install rear cross piece.
-
Install front cross piece.
-
Install rear and front sections of center console.
-
Check selector mechanism.
