Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Windshield Washer Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Reservoir

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Remove left front wheel.

-

Remove left front wheel housing liner. 

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 -.

-

Place a reservoir under the washer fluid reservoir.

-

Release the securing clip - 2 - in the -  direction of the arrow - and remove the washer fluid line -  1 - from the windshield washer system washer
fluid pump.

-

Remove the Windshield Washer Pump (V5) -  item 3 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Check the sealing grommet for damage.

-

Install left front wheel house liner.
