Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation

This vehicle uses a single electric 2 speed cooling fan. The cooling fan speeds are controlled by a water temperature sensor and a refrigerant high
pressure sensor. These sensors control relays which route electric current through resistors or directly to the fan motor to control speed.

1. Low speed is controlled by only the high temperature side of the coolant temperature sensor.
2. Second speed is controlled by both the low temperature section of the coolant temperature sensor and the refrigerant high pressure switch.
