Collision Avoidance System Switch: Service and Repair
Lane Change Assistance Button
Removing
-
Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Remove the center vents in the instrument panel.

Remove the Lane Change Assistance Button (E530) - 1 - from the trim with the air vent - 2 - - arrow -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Press the Lane Change Assistance Button (E530) into the switch housing.

Install the center vents in the instrument panel.
