Condition

Creaking noises can be heard from the rear cargo area, specifically from the blind for the luggage compartment, while driving.

Friction between the caps on the ends of the blind assembly and the mounting areas.

Figures 1 and 2 show the contact points of the blind assembly end caps and the mounting areas. A white chafe mark can be clearly seen.

Production Solution

Protective foil on the end caps of the blind assembly to isolate the contact.
