Checking threaded connectors on the brake disc ring and brake disc cup:
CAUTION!
The brake disc ring and the brake disc cup are attached to each other and must never be separated. Never loosen the threaded connector
on the brake disc cup.
The friction surface on a new brake disc already has stress cracks made during the production process. These stress cracks are all different.
‹› The stress cracks do not mean the ceramic brake disc is faulty.
The stress cracks are somewhat visible on new brake discs and different from each other in strength.
Rotor Cooling Channels, Surface Cracks
The cracks on the surface of the cooling channels - arrow - were produced during the manufacturing process.
